1. FROM A GARAGE DREAM TO A TEXAS OUTDOOR DESTINATION
Every adventure starts with a spark.
Ours lit in 2009 inside a North Texas garage, surrounded by a handful of tackle boxes, big ambitions, and a belief that great gear can change someone’s whole day on the water.
Six months later, we opened our first storefront. By 2010, we’d already outgrown it. And in 2013, the doors opened to our 7,000 sq-ft store — a place fueled by community, grit, and a shared love for the outdoors.
2. GROWING INTO A COMPLETE OUTDOOR SUPERSTORE
As the years rolled on, our shelves filled with more than just fishing tackle. Our customers weren’t just anglers — they were hunters, campers, kayakers, overlanders, grill-masters, backyard enthusiasts, and all-around outdoorsmen.
Today our online catalog spans:
Fishing, Paddlesports, Camping, Hunting, Shooting, Overlanding, Knives, Tools, Outdoor Cooking, Footwear, Apparel, Fitness & Recreation, Boating, Backyard Living, Survival, and more.

3. WHEN THE OUTDOORS SHIFTED, WE MOVED WITH IT
The outdoor world changed fast. And so did the way people shop.
Late nights. Early mornings. Orders from every time zone. New brands launching online before they ever hit a shelf.
Our website started to outpace our store.
The numbers were clear: the adventure was happening online.
4. THE NEXT EVOLUTION: YOUR ONLINE OUTDOOR SUPERSTORE
After a lot of planning, prayer, and real talk, we made our next strategic move:
Angler’s Pro Tackle & Outdoors is transitioning to an online-only model.
Not downsizing — upgrading.
This shift lets us:
Expand every category faster
Add new gear weekly
Stock deeper, sell broader
Keep prices sharp
Serve customers nationwide
Deliver faster, more efficient support

5. A FINAL SEASON IN OUR STORE
Our 7,000 sq-ft store will remain open through December 19, 2025.
It’s been the home of countless first rods, kayak demos, boot fittings, fishing stories, and friendships formed across the counter.
We’re proud of what these walls have seen — and grateful for everyone who stepped inside.
