RETURN & REFUND POLICY

Overview

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If something isn't right, we're here to help. Please read this policy carefully before initiating a return — following these steps will get your issue resolved as quickly as possible.

Returns

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery on eligible items.

To qualify for a return, your item must be:

  • Unused and in its original condition
  • In original packaging with all tags attached
  • Accompanied by your order number or proof of purchase

All returns require prior authorization. Returns sent without an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) will be refused and returned to sender.

When a Return Is Considered Initiated: A return is considered initiated at the point our supplier accepts your order. Once a supplier has accepted an order and fulfillment has begun, the return process is active regardless of whether the item has shipped or been delivered.

Who Pays Return Shipping

  • Defective, damaged, or incorrect items: We cover return shipping in full.
  • Customer preference returns (wrong size, wrong color, changed your mind, etc.): Customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Restocking Fee

Restocking fees apply to all non-defective returns. For items fulfilled directly by our suppliers, the restocking fee is determined by the supplier and may vary by brand. You will be notified of the applicable restocking fee before your return is finalized. The restocking fee is deducted from your refund.

No restocking fee is charged on items that are defective, damaged in transit, or shipped incorrectly.

Cancellation Fee

Orders cancelled after payment has been captured are subject to a cancellation processing fee of 3% of the order total. This fee reflects the non-recoverable payment processing costs incurred at the time of purchase.

This fee applies regardless of whether the order has shipped and is deducted from your refund at the time the cancellation is processed.

No cancellation fee is charged on orders cancelled due to supplier error, items out of stock, or orders we are unable to fulfill.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll notify you of the outcome within 2 business days.

  • Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–7 business days of approval.
  • Non-defective returns are refunded for the item price only — original shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the credit to your account.
  • If 10 business days have passed since your refund was approved and you haven't received it, contact us at sales@anglersprotackle.com.

Gift cards are non-refundable.

Exchanges

We don't process direct exchanges. To get a different item:

  1. Submit a return request for the original item
  2. Place a new order for the item you want

This gets your replacement to you faster. Contact us and we'll help coordinate.

Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

Inspect your order when it arrives. If you receive something that is defective, damaged during shipping, or not what you ordered, contact us within 5 days of delivery.

Depending on the situation and the supplier or manufacturer involved, we will either issue a full refund or send a replacement at no cost to you. We'll handle the return shipping.

Product Images & Variations

Product images are for illustrative purposes only. Manufacturers may make minor updates to products from time to time, including design changes, color variations, added features, or packaging updates, without prior notice. The item you receive may vary slightly from the image shown. These variations do not constitute grounds for return or refund.

Kayaks & Large Watercraft — Special Policy

All kayak and large watercraft sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges for any reason, including buyer's remorse, sizing, or color preference.

If your kayak arrives damaged or defective:

Contact us immediately at sales@anglersprotackle.com or 817-217-5809 with photos documenting the condition. Do not attempt to use or assemble a damaged hull before contacting us.

Defective and damage claims are handled in coordination with the manufacturer. Resolution processes and timelines vary by brand. We will connect you with the appropriate manufacturer representative and assist you through the process.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned under any circumstances:

  • Sale, clearance, and pre-owned items (all sales final)
  • Gift cards
  • Perishable goods (food, bait, live plants)
  • Opened food or consumable products
  • Custom or personalized items
  • Personal care and hygiene products
  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or compressed gases
  • Electronics (eligible for manufacturer warranty claims only — contact us for assistance)

Cancellations

Need to cancel? Act fast. Contact us immediately at 817-217-5809 or sales@anglersprotackle.com.

Once an order is submitted to our supplier for fulfillment, cancellations are no longer possible. If we cannot cancel in time, the standard return process applies once your item arrives.

Orders cancelled after payment capture but before supplier acceptance are subject to the 3% cancellation processing fee. Orders cancelled after supplier acceptance are subject to both the 3% cancellation processing fee and the applicable supplier restocking fee, both of which will be deducted from your refund.
