We offer four choices of this popular spool kit. The tried and true SS Ceramic, XS Ceramic with SS seals, XP Hyper Performance low tolerance and low noise and finally the all new PEEK retainer system with S30 ceramic balls and highest rated bearings available for ABU Ambassadeurs, the XCR Ultra!
These 2-pack spool kits fit Ambassadeur models from the early 80’s to present.
*Older fixed spoolshaft models usually take our 3x10x4 size.
SS Ceramic- Our original ABEC5 Ceramic that has been in service for many years
XS Ceramic- Stainless Steel sealed ABEC7 Ceramic with ribbon retainers and S20 Ceramic balls
XP Ceramic- Open Hi-Performance ABEC9 Ceramic with Japanese ribbon retainers and S25 Ceramic balls
XCR Ultra- The highest level Performance Bearings available in a fishing reel. ABEC9 With S30 Ceramic balls and PEEK Polyether Ether Ketone ribbon cage/retainer
