AJ Tack Sweet Iron Six Three Piece Copper Dogbone Chain Gag Bit

AJ Tack Sweet Iron Six Ring Dog Bone Chain Gag Bit — 5 1/2" Three-Piece, Copper Rings, 3 1/4" Half-Circle Cheeks

The AJ Tack Sweet Iron Six Ring Dog Bone Chain Gag Bit is built for riders who need effective head elevation and lateral flexion in a single, versatile bit. A 5 1/2" sweet iron three-piece dog bone mouthpiece distributes pressure evenly across the tongue and bars while the sweet iron naturally encourages salivation for a soft, willing mouth. Six copper rings and a sliding gag action work together to promote upward poll and neck elevation, making this bit a practical choice for horses that need improved collection and responsiveness.

• 5 1/2" Sweet Iron Three-Piece Dog Bone Mouthpiece — Multi-jointed design reduces the nutcracker effect of single-jointed bits by distributing pressure more evenly across the tongue, bars, and palate for a more comfortable, balanced feel
• Copper Rings — Copper rings encourage salivation and natural bit acceptance, working in combination with the sweet iron mouthpiece to promote a consistently soft, relaxed jaw
• 3 1/4" Half-Circle Cheeks — Curved half-circle cheek design provides effective leverage and stable rein attachment for clear, defined communication
• Six-Ring Sliding Gag Design — Six-ring configuration allows the mouthpiece to slide up the cheeks for effective head elevation and poll pressure — particularly useful for horses that need encouragement to carry themselves in a more upright, collected frame
• Improved Lateral Flexion — Multi-jointed mouthpiece combined with gag action encourages lateral flexion and softness through the poll for more responsive, supple movement
