The Sailor v3, built for your belt.
The Sailor v4 is the belt-carry version of the Sailor sleeve. Same sizes, same loop options — but with cutouts on the back that thread onto a standard belt (up to 40mm / 1.5" wide). If you’ve been running a v3 in your pocket and want it on your hip instead, this is the switch.
The basics
- 4 sizes: S, M, L, XL
- Belt cutouts: fit belts up to 40mm (1.5") wide
- Loop options: pen (D 11mm), AAA (D 15mm), AA (D 18mm), or none
- Full-grain leather, hand-stitched, hand-burnished edges
- Made by hand in my Kyiv workshop, one at a time

M — item 55 × 120 mm / pocket 45 × 120 mm

L — item 65 × 120 mm / pocket 55 × 120 mm

The leather (and why it’s named on the label)
- Crazy Horse (Rusty, Pistachio) — waxed pull-up. Scratches rub out with your thumb, color shifts with carry.
- Koala (Cigar, Black) — smooth, even, minimal marking.
All full-grain — the top layer of the hide, not corrected or bonded scraps.
Who it’s not for
For pocket carry instead of belt carry, look at the Sailor v3. For a belt clip that snaps on and off without threading, look at the Sailor v5.

Any belt up to 40mm (1.5") wide — standard belt size.
Which size do I need?
Match your knife to the list above. When in doubt, size up.
What’s the difference between the loop options?
No loop: knife sleeve only. Pen loop (D ~11mm). AAA loop (D ~15mm). AA pocket (D ~18mm).
Does the leather scratch?
Crazy Horse (Rusty, Pistachio) marks with use — most scratches rub out with your thumb. Koala (Cigar, Black) is smoother and marks less.
