Our 1/4 Zip FlexShell Hoodies are designed as an outer layer ideal for shoulder season temperatures. They feature a roomy cut through the chest and shoulders to allow for greater mobility when layering. These hoodies run larger, with extended arm and torso lengths compared to typical fits. Personally, I’ve worn one comfortably as an outer layer in 35-degree weather while fishing the Missouri River in January. At 5'11" and around 175 lbs, I choose a size large, which fits generously. This relaxed fit also suits our Mountaincognito line for activities like hiking, skiing, and snowboarding. We now offer an XS size tailored for smaller women and teens.
