Costa Rica La Rosa hails from the picturesque Naranjo district, a region often described as “blessed for coffee.” The four farms that produce La Rosa coffee benefit from an ideal combination of soil, altitude, rainfall, and temperature—factors that come together to nurture the coffee cherries to perfection. This balanced environment allows the coffee beans to develop complexity without losing their smooth character. Nestled high in the Central Valley, Naranjo’s unique microclimate imparts a distinctively bright yet subtle flavor profile to the coffee, inviting you to savor every sip.

The result of these perfect growing conditions is a cup that offers a delicate aroma, mild body, and a satisfying taste. When brewed, Costa Rica La Rosa Coffee reveals gentle floral notes complemented by a light sweetness, making it an excellent choice for those seeking a refined, approachable coffee. Its smoothness lingers on the palate, reflecting the meticulous care taken at every stage—from the careful cultivation in the nutrient-rich soil to the final roast. Whether enjoyed as a morning wake-up or a leisurely afternoon indulgence, Costa Rica La Rosa is a testament to the harmony of nature and craftsmanship.

Producer Bio

In 1960, a group of passionate coffee producers came together to form the Naranjo Coffee Growers in Costa Rica, pooling their resources for more efficient coffee processing. They purchased their own mill and introduced measures to enhance coffee quality and production while also providing members with training in sustainable farming practices and agricultural technical assistance.

La Rosa coffee originates from four farms nestled in the Naranjo district. This region is divided into 29 distinct coffee-growing areas, each considered “blessed for coffee” thanks to optimal conditions—fertile soil, ideal altitude, ample rainfall, and favorable temperatures. These factors converge to produce a truly unique coffee with a delicate aroma, mild body, and satisfying flavor.
