Bellewood Designs - Hidden Gun Safe Recessed In Wall With Luke 11:21 Bible Verse Decoration

Features

• Luke 11:21 Scripture Design: "When a strong man, fully armed, guards his house, his possessions are safe" finished in dark walnut with a natural maple front — a faith-based piece that doubles as secure gun storage.
• Give your firearm a spot in the room you actually spend time in, not a closet across the house.
• Reads as a scripture wall display, while quietly keeping a firearm secured behind it.
• A hidden magnet trips an internal latch for fast, dependable access — no batteries, no codes.
• Foam insert shapes to your specific firearm and accessories for a tailored fit.
• Available as either a recessed in-wall install or a standard surface wall mount.

Why Gun Owners Choose This

For gun owners whose views on home defense are rooted in their faith, a generic patriotic or nature design doesn't say what they actually mean. This piece does.

• Hidden in plain sight. A framed scripture verse is one of the most common pieces displayed in a home, so this one never signals what's stored behind it.
• Close when it counts. It keeps a firearm in the room you actually spend time in, not shut away somewhere you'd have to go looking for it.
• Says something specific. The Luke 11:21 verse directly connects scripture to the idea of a guarded, protected home, giving this piece a meaning the collection's other designs don't carry.

Design & Construction

This piece opens like a cabinet door rather than lifting up: it's hinged on the left side and swings open sideways from right to left, in a landscape orientation.

How the Magnetic Lock Works

The trigger point sits toward the right edge of the panel, 2 inches below the top edge. Holding the magnetic key at that spot releases the internal latch, letting the panel swing open from its left-side hinge. There's no keyhole, keypad, or battery involved, just a magnet and a mechanical latch that either holds or releases. To close it back up, swing the panel shut until it sits flush, and the latch catches on its own.

Installation

This piece can be installed either as a recessed, flush in-wall cabinet, which requires cutting a hole in the wall, or as a standard surface-mounted wall piece for an easier setup. It's sized at 14.4375" wide to fit standard 16" on-center stud framing if you choose the recessed option. Mounting hardware and digital installation instructions are included either way.

Where to Install

Its scripture design suits a living room, entryway, or bedroom especially well, anywhere a framed verse would naturally be displayed.

What It Stores

With 13" x 10.5" x 3" of interior space, this cabinet is sized for a handgun alongside a spare magazine or accessory like a flashlight, arranged with the included foam insert.

Décor Fit

The dark walnut frame and natural maple scripture panel bring a warm, traditional character to any room, suiting farmhouse, traditional, and faith-centered interiors especially well.

Care Guide

Dust the exterior with a dry microfiber cloth, using a lightly dampened cloth for stubborn marks. Avoid ammonia-based cleaners, abrasive materials, and silicone-based polishes.
