Description
Juusto is a buttery-flavored, flat and squeaky cheese made in Scandinavia for over 200 years - called "Juustoleipa" or "Ostbrod", meaning "bread cheese". Each piece is baked to create a sweet caramelized, toasted crust similar to brown bread. To serve: warm in oven, microwave or skillet until it glistens; cut in strips and serve for breakfast or dessert with jam, honey or syrup. Great as an appetizer, with salsa or a savory dip.
