This piece is built as a rectangular wall-mounted cabinet with a hand-carved elk and deer forest scene set into the front panel. The panel is top-hinged and lifts straight upward to open, held in place once open by gas struts mounted on both interior side panels.

How the Magnetic Lock Works

The magnetic lock can only be opened with the magnetic key. Place the key against the front panel, about 2 inches above its lower edge, to trigger the mechanical latch. Once the latch releases, a light upward pull opens the door smoothly. The key can then be removed. To close and re-lock the cabinet, simply push the panel down until it sits flush with the cabinet, allowing the latch to automatically re-engage.
