Omerta Tackle Co. Skippin Jig. Although I am not a scientists I think sometimes trying to think like one doesn't hurt! This jig was designed with a strong opinion that a jig will skip better if the center of mass is as low and as far back as possible, and this design just so happend to solve the second most important thing about making a jig that skips well. The added weight under the head actually acts as a cover for your plastic which makes the bottom of this jig as flat as possible.

I also may have gotten lucky and created an epic grass swim jig!!!
