The moderate action gives the blank a smooth, progressive load well suited for a wide range of inshore and freshwater casting presentations: topwaters, soft plastics, popping corks, and medium-weight artificials where a forgiving tip helps keep fish pinned and lures on the hook.

Built on a high-modulus graphite blank reinforced with carbon nanotube polymer composite, the CX2SMC7 is lightweight, sensitive, and strong. The blank-exposed Sea Guide ergonomic reel seat keeps you in direct contact with the blank for maximum feel, and the high-durometer EVA foam handle delivers a secure, comfortable grip in all conditions.
