The Togens Barbless Jig Hook can be used in fresh or salt water. Most fish caught on a Jig hook are either on the water's floor or near the floor. This is why the Jig hook was created to have a heavy front end, for better sink rate and more of a vertical angle for the fly/worm.
Togens hooks are made of premium high-carbon steel, which is hardened and tempered, providing a long point life and a very strong hook. Togens hooks use a constant taper. This provides consistency in shape, assuring no weak spots, and gives amazing speed of penetration.
This hook makes a great fly, whether it's a nymph, dry fly, wet fly or a hopper and has proved itself to be a very strong hook.
