If you do not want to replace the line for a long time, get Amsteel. It is spliced, does not stretch under load, and glides over bark without fraying better than paracord. If you want to save a few dollars and do not mind replacing paracord every couple of years, go paracord. Both come in 7 ft lengths and work the same way at the tree.
How does it attach to the tree?
With a trucker's hitch style quick hitch. Wrap the tree, run the line, pull it tight, and hang your bow. Pull it down and pocket it when you leave. No adjustments and no straps to manage.
How big a tree will it fit?
Seven feet of line wraps most trees you would hunt. On a very large trunk you will run short, which is the tradeoff for a system that fits in a pocket.
Will it hold a crossbow or a rifle?
Yes. The bow hanger is built for a compound bow, crossbow, or rifle, and the two gear hooks handle your pack, binos, and calls.
Is it quiet?
There is no metal-on-metal contact in the system, which is where hanger noise usually comes from.
What is the warranty?
Lifetime and transferable on the hardware. Paracord and Amsteel wear with normal use and are not covered, but replacements are available through the contact form.
